Firm, won’t collapse flat over time, stays comfortable. Tried air cushions, hard styrofoam and others. Air was too soft, styrofoam was too hard and you know the rest. Hands down this is best cushion of all. If you just need cushion because you sit on hard chair all day, I’d still suggest you try this.

I was pleasantly surprised that this tailbone cushion was everything that the manufacturer claimed, and it actually surpassed my expectations. I was immediately impressed by the non-slip base, and by the contours in the seat to accommodate my rear end in the back, and to support my thighs in front. The 2 1/2 inch height was perfect; if it were any higher my foot could not have reached the gas pedal, and my head would have hit the roof. As for comfort, it was firm enough for good support without being hard as a rock. It was not mushy. The fabric was of good quality, not soft and furry like a child's stuffed animal. It was so comfortable that I forgot that I was sitting on anything but my car's own seat.

I've been using the donut pillow now for my second week after having my baby and it's the only sitting surface that has been the most comfortable for me after my delivery. I take it with me everywhere I go and use it on any seated surface. I'm really pleased by the quality and the sturdiness of the pillow. It's a lifesIaver for postpartum women! I've been trying several types of sitting pillows and this has been the best so far. After I'd lost 70 pounds, it became painful to sit for as long as I used to. My tailbone area would hurt so much that driving to and from work every day was torture. I knew I had to find something to help endure the pain. This was the only pillow that even came close to any kind of relief. I'm 5'8" and 143 pounds just to give you an idea. I truly hope this helps you find relief as well.
