This Privacy Policy describes how efforest.com (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

Collecting Personal Information

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

We use your personal information to provide our services to you, which includes: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.

Lawful basis

Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), we process your personal information under the following lawful bases:

• The performance of the contract between you and the Site;
• Compliance with our legal obligations;
• To protect your vital interests;
• To perform a task carried out in the public interest;

Retention

Automatic decision-making

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (which includes profiling) when that decision-making has a legal effect on you or otherwise significantly affects you.

We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Shopify applies automated fraud screening to orders; a declined or flagged order is always reviewable by a person — email info@efforest.com and we will look at it.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

• Automated fraud screening of payment attempts, run by our payment processor. It may temporarily decline a transaction; it does not decide anything else about you, and you can ask us to review a declined order by emailing info@efforest.com.

Text Marketing and notifications:

We are using a text messaging platform, which is subject to the following terms and conditions. By opting in for our text marketing and notifications, you agree to these terms and conditions.

We treat order messages and marketing messages separately.

Order and delivery messages. If you give us a phone number when you order, we may use it to text or call you about that order — dispatch and tracking updates, and, for freight items, the carrier calling you to agree a delivery window. A phone number is needed to schedule a freight delivery, so for those items we do ask for one. These are service messages about your own order, not marketing.

Marketing messages. We only send text marketing offers if you have asked for them — by ticking the SMS marketing box at checkout, subscribing through a form on the site, or texting one of our keywords. Simply entering a phone number at checkout does not sign you up for marketing. Marketing messages will not exceed 5 a month, and consent to marketing is never a condition of any purchase. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Your phone number, name, and purchase information will be shared with our SMS platform "SMSBump Inc", an European Union company with an office in Sofia, Bulgaria, EU. This data will be used for sending you targeted marketing messages and notifications. Upon sending the text messages, your phone number will be passed to a text messages operator to fulfill their delivery.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications, reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests, will not be accounted as a reasonable means of opting out. Message and data rates may apply.

Your rights
